2026 LL Regionals

It's that time of year for everyone to ramp up their second mortgages and race Regionals!

For $$ reference -- I haven't raced a Reg since 2022 and figured I'd do it one more time this year.
To race 2 classes at Muddy Creek:
Gate fee Thurs - $50 each
Track Race Entry Fees - $175.88
MXSports Reg Entry Fees - $149.22
Total for 2 classes and 2 people attending = $425.10
+transponder fee if you don't own one.

Here's some entry lists so far. Obviously $5 a gallon gas does not apply to #roadtolorettas

I did the out west thing in 2023 and raced Pala and Hangtown. Great experience for sure, low numbers in plus 40 but everyone was fast and they knew the tracks. With that being said I didn't qualify but no regrets, it was very expensive even with staying with a buddy that lives out there. It was a bucket list thing that I checked off so I was happy regardless. Side note, dummy me didn't race plus 30 at area for Hangtown because I knew I would have got smoked, but if I did all I had to do is ride around at Hangtown regional and would have qualified because only 3 guys showed up for the 30 class!! Should have listened to Kreps. Lesson learned lol, overall had a blast.

Definitely shoulda went out west... Lol
The problem with going out west is that numbers are lower, and dudes are FAST. So you either get top 4 and get a ticket, or your power ranking sucks and you aren't getting in unless the very rare 50% rule comes into play.

But in the West you do see some classes that only have 4 racers, meaning auto-ticket to everyone!

My buddy has a KX 450 that I'm willing to bet he would rent, he is in socal. I used it for the areas and shipped my bike out there for the regionals.

Lost interest in the chase heavily after the vet regionals during covid. The whole Fam has to be invested in that chase. If they’re not it just turns into a waste / fight / arguments whining about riding all The time etc

There’s a lot of other things in my life that I can find enjoyment spending my money on.

Like the older I get, avoiding spending money is starting to interest me the most.

Word. Im fortunate and not getting too much flack, but there are those times. This will likely be my last effort toward it. Contemplating switching gears from only moto, mainly for my kid. Ill buy some fun bike n ride when and where she wants to. Same story for Daytona really. Potentially one last bucket list thing next year for moto but itll be for fun.

When Dakota broke her leg I asked if we should load up now n go. She said "no, ill be fine sitting here. Were here for you to train so go do another 30".
