If I'm not mistaken, but isn't the jump that Reed crashed on very similar to the jump that David Baily crashed on in Cali in '87? Trying to do a tripple out of a double and some kind of roller afterwards and hit a lip on the jump sending over the bars.
 
Reed must have his employees on some type of bonus schedule to keep him from being obligated to pay them. Is there an insurance type deal where he pays a premium to cover his payroll or something like that?
I hope he returns, but wouldn't knock the guy if he took to team management instead...
