Can anyone give me some places to call about buying used parts?? My husband wants to convert an 05 RMZ450. We would like to get an extra set of forks and a shock so we can still have the normal ones to switch the bike back. We also need the full wheel set. Is there any place local to buy the plate for your boot and stuff like that.

I think LinderRacing is still making the steel shoes if you want to send him a PM. He would also be a good person to ask questions to. He is very plugged into the flat track scene around here.
 
Rich-Allan is the one that wants to ride this and I believe rachel has a bug about it as well. I told him I wouldn't be very good but I would willing to try it.
 
I have a extra set of suspension and wheels that I use to convert my 2012 RMZ250 from Flattrack to MX. I watched some of the Flattrack website classified sections for stuff but ended up finding some good deals on eBay.I ended up getting stock MX suspension and sending it to Durelle Racing to get lowered and valved.Davey Durelle was very helpful and easy to talk to in getting things set up. He is also where I get my tires... For wheels I have a set of DNA wheels and run 19" X 2.15 front and rear that I think I had done for about $500 for the set. For the the steel shoe get a hold of Jud Linder,LinderRacing who posts on Pitracer.He will custom make a shoe that will fit your MX boot,does GREAT work! Hopefully Jud will get on here and give you more info,he is the one who got me hooked in this type of racing a few years ago. VERY fun sport!

That bike is def. pretty. Thanks for all the help and info. We have been to wr to watch and we love going, may be going there to races sometime soon. :)
