Ste.81 Noob May 22, 2016 #1 I have a cr 85 2004 model The bike got stolen a few weeks ago and the bike seemed ok when I got it back then it started making a clicking noise but still rides good. I've put a new piston in and new small end bearing but the noise is still there

B Bobd168 PR Member May 22, 2016 #3 Sounds like piston slap caused by excessive piston to wall clearance. Does the sound go away when the engine warms up? Cylinders can wear over time because of contaminants.
