Good morning everyone. There has been a lot of discussion s and work going into keeping everyone safe for this upcoming weekends events. So here are the requirements:

Admission Process:
  • Upon entry, you will be greeted by staff wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), i.e., facemask and gloves.
  • Each vehicle will be given a separate liability release/waiver for the occupants to sign and return to staff. Please bring your own pen. Only one release sheet will be used per vehicle.
  • Each rider will be given a release form to complete on their own prior to registering. This will only have to be completed once.
  • Riders will also be given an entry form.
  • Please bring your own pen to complete the release and race entry form.
  • We accept credit card or exact cash payment. Please come prepared.
  • Your ticket will be a wristband. Please secure it to your own wrist and help your kids with theirs.
  • Trash cans will only be in the concession area for concession trash. A trash bag will be given to every vehicle. IF you need another trash bag thru out the weekend, we will give you another. Please dispose of your trash in our dumpster on your way home.
  • Park 10 feet apart from your neighbor on all sides.
  • Please remain in your pit area unless going to/from registration, concessions or the race track. Don’t roam or visit your neighbors - use your phone for that.
  • Help us limit the number of people onsite overnight. If you practice Saturday and are not spending the night, please return home as soon as possible after practice is over.

Registration Process:
  • Entry fees can be paid by credit card or exact cash. Chip readers will be positioned so that riders can insert their own credit card. No signature required. Change will not be given for cash sales. Please come prepared.
  • We ask that only the rider, or in the event of a youth rider their parent, attend registration. Youth riders should not attend registration.
  • All riders can register at the event. Bring your completed entry from and release form. Please bring your helmet to registration.
  • Clerks will be seated behind protective barriers for your protection and theirs.
  • Standing positions will be marked 6 feet apart for social distancing. Please stand apart.
  • PPE is appreciated at registration and concessions.

I appreciate the efforts being taken to go race. But honestly, it is a joke. We were in Georgia with almost a 1000 Entries. Casey IL the following weekend had almost 1200 entries ( I was not in Casey) but I assure you, none of that happened. People were racing and having fun with friends, and talking like Covid19 did not exist. And yes the concession, registration etc all took cash, made change, let you use pens, had trash cans all over the property etc.

Also, sign up on Sunday ends at 8am sharp. Please do your best to get there early.

We can't move signups out of the stone age and online? I mean holy crap, standing in line to fill out signup paper work like I did when I raced in the early 80's is L-A-M-E. Not a shot at COCR but any track that still has to do in person sign up. Don't tell me it's about liability either, I can sign up for a freaking mortgage online if needed. It can be done.....and it would make it way easier for both the track and the participants. In person sign up is an option of course, but for everyone to be expected to push thru on Sunday is crazy. I can't make it down early to sign up on Saturday.

I agree.
You guys are nuts if you think everyone will be thru the lines in 1 hour.

You guys have a great chance on this one particular race to right all the wrongs of the past and change the opinion of COCR.

I have a wedding to attend this weekend, so I will not be there, but Matthew will be. But you are 100% correct. They have one shot here to do a good job. Last year the track prep was not good. Mud hole early, made for horrible lines, and then dry in the later point of the day. Lots of riders, to make an impression on.
