My first ever bike! JT60

You young fellows with your Mini Enduro and even later GT/MX Yamahas. I was too old for those as a kid. We had real minibikes with lawn mower engines. I did rescue this 1975 Yamaha 80 from a shed in the hills a few months ago and have been riding it all summer. It's been in the family since new and it's so cool with Tri Moto bars.

I'm not as old as you guys and didn't start on a bike, but I want to join this cool memory lane stuff...lol.

My first motorized vehicle was a brand new 1985 Kawasaki KLT 110 of which we picked up, got home after dark, and my bro in law rode with me until 1 in the morning...lol. Then I jumped it the next day, balloon tires bounced and flipped over me the next day breaking the headlight... That was just the beginning. I rode the piss out of that thing... My buddy had a DS80 that he rode pretty good, but got a black KLT 110 like mine. Good times. Good days. Good memories.

I eventually graduated to a 1986 KXT 250 Tecate (which I still have and WILL get back to the dunes someday..), traded my wife's Polaris Trailblazer for a 1991 RM125 which was short lived, got a 1999 KX250 of which I had a little get off at Honda Hills Superbowl Sunday 1991 that needed a heli ride/month in hospital, etc....brand new 2002 KX 250, then 2003, a Gibby 2007 KX 4-fitty, and now a 2005 KX 300 big bore...in parts in the garage due to a 2018 PW50 and 2009 KTM 50SX Junior that will not allow me to get to...

All good. Wouldn't trade it for a minute and would like to see you old folks write up your motorcycle career in that small if an narrative...lol. :) Good shtuff!!

Forgot to mention the 1985 Yamaha BW80 I ride with my boy to the gate and and back, around the pits with him double, and around our home track with on occasion....
