Lake Erie charter fishing

Dude -
Tell us more.
House boat is a rent & you drag the Formula and skis ?
How big is that boat? -haha Sq/Ft ...LOL??
I think I could fit my entire graduating class in that thing.
We started going down there in 2012 with the motorhome and towing the boat and skis, rented houseboats for a few years with bigger groups of friends and had some of the best times. I met a a guy down there on the lake and became really good friends and now we stay on his Houseboat whenever we go down there , usually tow down skis or one of the Go Fast boats and have a blast in the warm calm clean water. The boat in the picture is 130 feet long and is the largest houseboat built ,was in Forbes magazine . You cant go wrong with a trip down to LCK , so much to do for everyone. Lake Life is pretty much all we do now that we dont MX anymore

We go in May , June , July , August , September and October , really depends on what you are looking to do down there. The big party weekends are Memorial weekend then Thunder Run Poker Run in June , then July 4th , and raft off in August ,Labor Day and the the biggest is Poker Run which is always the weekend after Labor Day so we try to stay for 10 days to catch both weekends in 1 trip. If you are going for skiing , tubing , fishing or relaxing you really need to be there during the weekdays and the lake is like glass and not busy. Best time for going would be August and September because early in the season the lake tends to have debris like wood and trees from the high water levels in spring. If you like Lake stuff you have to make it there at least once, get a group and rent a houseboat , you wont regret it.

im partial to norris but yes, all those lakes (cumberland, norris, norman even) are well worth the trip. havent made it down in years and trying to sell the wakeboard boat currently. sad times but i think i'm ready to cruise.

....Is that a HotTub on the top deck of the houseboat? !!!
I'm puttin it on the bucket list for fall. Gotta check this out.
Any advice for camping ? Is it better on the east end or west ?
When we took the motorhome down we stayed right at the State Park , State Dock is right there at the bottom and you can rent skis, boats and houseboats from them or there is a launch ramp if you bring your own, we have always went to the western end of the lake although I have been up on the eastern end by ski and boat I just prefer the end towards the dam

Tappan campground was great.
