Finally figuring out what some of us have been saying for sometime eh? That's why we compare our value for the money of racing to Red Bud....to JO's dismay lol

Nothing of the sort. Just explaining why some of us travel to these types of races. Red Bud had been referenced more than a few times and each of those a resulted in a reply like the one you just gave. Good thing is you have seemed to have picked up on it from what I heard about your vet regional. Glad it went well.

I had enough fun at the ME Regional I started looking at the schedule but unfortunately can't make the Battle weekend.

Man did Ken Roczen ever throw the boat anchor out this weekend! July 4th. Time for Kenny to start suffering from fatigue.

It’s called being human and not taking any p.e.d’s. The top 10 of every national should be drug tested! Period! If you don’t think these guys are taking anything you’re living on another planet! The testing was supposed to be a thing, funny how it has disappeared! If there’s nothing to hide then drug testing shouldn’t be a big deal.

That’s funny! Yep the rule book says that all riders are SUBJECT to testing. Nothing is mandatory. They pick and choose who they test. Couple weeks ago the Lawrence brothers and there whole family where really sick. Somehow they were still able to go out and win/ place in top three! They must just be super human!

Had a blast! Not to too hot. Not to loud. No stalls or crashes for me this year!!!!
Brad cooked ribs and steak! Yummy! HIs chef skills are unbelievable...
Skipped racing on Sunday to get home a little early and go out on the boat for fireworks.

Had a blast at RedBud. Their program is so dialed and track is awesome. Family and I had a blast and got plenty of track time Thursday and Friday. Spent my fair share of time on the ground but Atleast it was soft and sandy lol

Only downfall was we had a serious party by us Friday and Saturday. When the kids woke up for the second time Saturday night at 1am I went outside the camper and almost stepped on a few drunk people laying by our steps and had a couple more sitting around our fire pit at our site. Pegging bikes off the rev limiter at 1am and blowing air horns are a little much. I can deal with the music and hundreds of “REEEEEDBUDDD” chants.

We’re definitely planning on going back next year! Just be a little smarter about where we park.

As you get older and are more pulled in different directions for time, having a nice long weekend of camping and racing at a National track is hard to beat for family value.
