Swingarm repair

Does anyone know of a machine shop that could repair chain rash on a swingarm in the northeast? I know there's people I could send it out to I'm just nervous about potentially losing it in the mail and not being able to find a replacement.

What material is it made out of? You can weld and clean them up pretty well usually. Did it wear through the chain pad and into the bearing area? What kind of Swingarm is it anyway? -Fast50s

It's off a cr125 so it's aluminum, chain wore through the slider into the swingarm but not into the bearing

If you can get it to any local welding guy that's a super easy repair and can be cleaned up and then covered with the buffer (rubber part) If you can get it to me I could fix it for you but you could find a local guy and that would be cheaper for you with no shipping to and from...

Aircraft Welding in Cleveland does great aluminum work. They have done small projects like this for cash on the side for me before. After that just grind it back to size and finish, or have a machine shop do it.

Could be wrong on this one and you would have to contact and ask but I would see if DH1 mods might be able to do something for you. He does engine work obviously but I know he welds so he might be able to help you. I can’t guarantee he would be able to but he might
