I have heard about the injury clauses in contracts. They will only pay so many races then you’re screwed and don’t get paid anything. So i bet based on the past of Forkner there is an injury clause saying they will only pay him for x amount of races while being injured. Same with when colt getting hurt last year he didn’t get paid while he was hurt
