Montana Dual Sport Ride

This is a mining operation that’s been vacant for some time. I lived here in '88 and have been back 22 times in 30 years. There have been a few miners try to revive the claim and only last a year or so...

This is what's left of a steam engine that I found 30 years ago in the forest. It was moved back into the timber as a tractor then set up as a source of power for the gold mining for several cabins in the area. The cabins are at least 100 years old and starting to decay but still great to see.

Jonny kept saying that we need to buy a chunk of land here to come back to every year. We stopped at this cabin that was just as he was dreaming...

We stopped at the local bar (in a town of 300 people) and we talked to an old lady about getting land here. She said that she had a cabin in the mountains with 20 acres and a gold mine. Low and behold....this was HER cabin. Jonny and I wanted to marry her for the cabin!!!!! lol (she was 75-80 years old)

Wow, is all I can say. Great pics and scenery. I have never seen that part of the country but hope to some day. They way you guys are seeing it is even better. I'm jealous. Thanks for the video's and pics.
