In 2003 Jeff and Brenda Hillis turned their passion and years of experience into a full time business helping riders and racers of all backgrounds take care of their motorcycles. Their sons Josh and Andrew are moving into bigger and more important roles - it’s easy to see that Hillis Cycle Center is in good hands for years to come. The shop boasts a service department with Big Josh behind the T-Handles and a loaded parts department to keep your machine maintained to the highest levels. If you’re a weekend warrior or a hardcore racer - Hillis Cycle Center has everything you need to get back on the track.
Last season when I saw the #2 Honda Machine on the line I knew it could only be one of the Hillis Crew. Andrew came out and took the B Class by storm. I personally have spent a lot of time with the Hillis crew traveling across the region and linking up with them at different races. Going fast is definitely genetic in the Hillis Family - Jeff raced on the national level for years and ran at the front of the pack locally in the A-Class. His signature style on the #2 is unmistakable. When the gate dropped the bullshit stopped and the big man on the Honda would stretch the throttle cable and find his way to the front of the pack. Josh is an accomplished racer himself and has some bibs from Loretta Lynn’s ranch of his own hanging up. Word around the campfire is the Big Dog will be coming out to the Open Pro Sport class with his brother this season. In the evenings at the shop Josh spins the wrenches on his own machines and every year brings a fleet of bikes down to the AMA Mid-Ohio Vintage Motorcycle days. From 125cc - 500cc he has some trick machines worth drooling over.
