Our first trip last year. We decided at Loretta’s that we needed a fun time away from the grind. We made it a guys trip with the Mays, It was everything we were looking for and needed. We plan on going back this year, schedule depending. Very laid back with solid racing. I may even attempt a lap or two this year! lol.

Practice they still over water and disk too deep but motos are usually pretty good.

First couple practices are not as fun for sure but what do you want for the rest of the day, dust and hard pack in places? Any track that has good prep is deep and wet to start the day. Otherwise they get behind and never catch up. Surprised you don't get that being in the sport for so many years

Lol.. i fully understand the process. They just over do it. They trucked in 100s of loads of sand to hold moisture. Theres no need to swamp it for first practices of vet fest. A little more maintenance through the day to bring moisture back up shouldn't be the end of the world.

Best race of the year for Vet Riders without a question. Must go if you just want to have a great time, sign up for the cookout on Friday evening and eat a great meal after practice and bench race with your buddies. This race is all that you want as a Vet guy!
