The union doesn’t protect them from government politicians. They protect their dues deduction and are incompetent. The stewards are not subject matter experts. They’re elected based on popularity and bull s**t.

As bad as they can be at times, Unions are still vitally important. The corporate world and government would erode Labor Laws and working conditions in the blink of an eye given the opportunity. They will screw over the working middle class big time.

Look at international outsourcing. Always in search of slave labor to exploit. Greedy Bastards!

Funny, I was just thinking the other day about the US/China Trade war going on.
It hit me that the country that should be most pissed at China's trade practices is Mexico. For the longest time, most of our electrical parts and materials had the "Made in Mexico" stamp. Now it all says "China".

Eh I think unions are dead. They killed themselves. They don’t pride their organizations. They don’t want to train people. They want to argue why the employee isn’t trained. Or can’t be trained. And is equal to everyone else and blah blah blah. They waste more time coming up with why s**t can’t get done than to just get it done.

The military gets s**t done. We don’t have a union.

How is that the militaries fault ? They already provide basic housing allowance, they feed the soldier and provide full medical benefits. If they don’t take housing allowance they can live on post rent free. Post housing isn’t that bad....all the activities provided...morale and welfare resource office.....people in are taken care of. Military pay is public knowledge. What other entry level job going to pay you 35-50k a year ? As you earn rank the pay goes up. Handsomely.

Nobody told these serviceman to finance out a $60,000 mustang. Yet I saw many active duty privates driving them around at fort Knox.....

I'm not slamming it, simply observing and understanding what I've always seen with family members, friends, co-workers and work associates that are, or were military.
But the fact remains, military pay and benefits aren't exactly negotiable. And it particularly sucks when they transfer you from home, friends, and family to some far off hole in the wall base that you don't want to go to.

That being said: Thank Goodness we have those willing.

Georgie, you should have learned by now that "It's always someone else's FAULT!" That's why we are going to let the government run everything and dole out a fair share to everyone! Those Socialists are going to win everything and we will all be on easy street! At some point you wonder why Bernie Sander's private life and his Political Agenda are so far apart from each other??? His house, cars, lifestyle, etc are nothing like the promises he is making to all of the people that will vote for him, and don't expect him to give up his stuff, just hand over your stuff!

Im at Sam’s club last week. Looking through the meat cooler. Trying to find the cheapest package of 80/20 beef. An old guy is doing the same Next to me. So I says to him....just think when Bernie gets elected we won’t have to do this to save money. All this will be free and there will be much more selection. The guy just howled in laughter. And responded with yea I don’t know the hells going on with this country either.

So we've got this deal with Trump, foreign aid to Ukraine, and you've got Pelosi, Nadler and Company itching to pull the Impeachment lever, and in the mix of it all you the leading Democratic candidate's son, getting wealthy off of questionable Ukrainian business dealings, and evidence of Biden's involvement.

It's like the Hillary for President campaign all over again.
Trump and his adviser's setting back with a big ole grin and saying, "just go for it, Do it!!!! :D

Beto was on Kent’s campus tonight. He’s got about 250 college kids supporting him. Talking about takin guns when he’s protected by Kent police officers with guns.

Wow! Oh well. Let’s be real here. Biden and sanders will get the nom.

I was almost amazed to hop onto the best Ohio Moto site and see 'trump daddy' going strong for four years.

Fairly commical to see the far right (trump supporters, let's be honest, he's a bit of a wack job) arguing with the far left (common Dems, do we have any other political agenda these days?)

It is stunning that they don't seem to have anything else on their agenda. Complete obsession.

Funny part is, most Repub's know that Trump is a "wack job-piece of work", but he's so effective at keeping the Democrats distracted, off-balance and screwing up that it makes them look good. It's sad and hilarious at the same time.

And the further they go with all of this impeachment business, the better they are setting him up for a 2020 re-election victory, which is a hoot!
I mean talk about embarrassment? Not only did you fail in taking him down and getting him impeached, you got him re-elected for four more years.

They don't get it that Trump thrives in this sort of business and political environment.
They'd be much more effective if they'd simply and completely ignore the guy, starving him of any attention, and play down his Presidency as just "Ho-Hum" and lacking substance. Attacking him only digs the Dem's into a deeper political hole.
