Watched the debate tonight. These candidates are disconnected with reality. It’s like they refuse to acknowledge what’s really going on.

Well, look at where we are at now.
From the bottom of my heart, I pray the best for all of you fellow Pitracer members and your families as we work our way through these unfortunate circumstances we find ourselves in.
To say that this whole situation our nation faces is surreal, is a bit of an understatement.
All politics aside, I do take relief in the fact that Trump is at the helm. And for the first time in 3-1/2 years, congress is forced to work together and get something done.
I know that as always, the United States will persevere, rise above, and emerge strong on the flip side of this mess. I do have to say though, despite the brilliance and blessing we have by having so many super smart medical world professionals involved and engaged in this, I find it a bit questionable that this wasn't a man made (planted) crises. I find China's behavior on this very suspicious, and I would love to be a fly on the wall at the United States Pentagon right now. After all, our nations largest vulnerability has been revealed. I truly, truly...."hope" that I am wrong.

Democrats with the "Green New Deal" crap, would like to tax your dirt bike out of business. They would prefer to close down every off road park, and all state land to motorized dirt bikes. They think they are all too noisy. Basically, if you ride a dirt bike and vote for a democrat your nuts. Because if you look at every listed democrat in the federal and state government, I can guarantee you they have made votes that would be detrimental to you riding off road.
Some of that may be true but sometimes there is a bigger picture. If Trump is reelected we won't have a country we recognize after his next 4 years. I voted for him last time, I won't make that HUGE mistake again. Ok, I'm done talking politics. Safe riding.

Enlighten me and tell us something that we don't know or are missing here. If I'm all jacked up in what I think I'm seeing in our government and politics, I'd like to know. For many of us, it's not about being Republican or Democrat, it's about knowing the real truth.
I don't recognize the America that the extreme left wing Democrats are creating for us now. Hell, people who have been lifelong Democrats, including my parents repeatedly speak of this. With Pelosi and Schumer running the party, they want the whole country to resemble New York state and California.

No matter who gets elected the country shouldn’t be unrecognizable in 4 years. The founders created this govt in such a way so you can’t have sweeping changes.
Gridlock isn’t a bad thing. It prevents huge sways. Which causes volatility. Now you keep one idea in for a few double-term presidential administrations with Supreme Court picks...then yea you might see a huge swing. But that’s 25 years. Not 4.
Problem is the way i see it, there’s nothing wrong with going back to pre-entitlement america, and nothing wrong with everyone looking out for themselves and their family at the fundamental level. Then helping their neighbor.
I just see Democrat’s want everyone to stay home. Print money. Become dependent off the government. Stay home because it’s safe. Well, sorry I’m an American. I don’t need a party to act like a king. There’s no land masses left on this place at that we can flee too and start over. We already did this bullshit once with oppressive government. No need to Let our government get changed to that or some bullshit socialist utopia. I’d like my daughters grand kids to have freedom. And I also want them not to pay the tab for trillion dollar spending bills we pass like it’s nothing in the name of a “safer” America.
Hate me. I don’t care. The only thing socialist that works is the military. But that’s ONLY because it’s funded by free private American citizens paying taxes. And manned by Americas citizens that want to serve. The entire country can’t be a socialist model. It will collapse.

Man, we are really screwed up.
When the recent rioting began in the major cities across the country, President Trump was one of the first to speak up, and acknowledge the difference between protesting and criminal rioting and looting. Trump advised Governors and Mayors to either get control of their situations, or he would.
The wife and I have been absolutely stunned by what we have been seeing going on. Where in the hell is the "real" and "strong" leadership to deal with this?
Since when do we "let" mobs take over and destroy our cities? Why are we condoning this and how come every politician or public official speaking about it on TV are worried about being politically correct in dealing with this? Yes there was use of excessive force in the Minneapolis police case, but we are way beyond that situation now.
Besides Trump, I was pleased to hear at least one member of the Law Enforcement community address this crises correctly: He is the Sheriff of Polk County Florida.
This whole Minneapolis Police mess, has only been used as an excuse to lose their minds. The very moment that a Police car gets torched or a Police precinct gets abandoned and burned, the National Guard and Military should be on the way. This is like Hillary's Benghazi all over again, but here instead of over there. Our federal and state governments are seriously dysfunctional and we need to clean house. And this whole Antifa business needs dealt with as well. Get to the bottom of what their issues are and deal with it.
EDUCATION: When I turn on the TV, or check the news on the internet, and see the rioting, violence and destruction taking place, what I really believe I am looking at is the dangers of mass ignorance, and mass stupidity!
These morons are destroying the very business's that sustain and serve their very own communities... Makes no sense???????
We have to educate people. It is the only way to truly combat this. Education can ease issues of race and bigotry, crime, class separations, employment and almost everything else. And it can't just be extreme Left Wing, or extreme Right Wing propaganda brainwashing.
How can we be one of the Greatest Countries on the face of this earth and fail our people so badly.

If a person is determined enough, they will never let their own personal race, gender or creed stop them from accomplishing that which they decide they must accomplish.
I personally, and repeatedly find myself inspired and motivated anytime a so-called minority greatly succeeds at something. It has the tendency to tear down your own excuses.
American history is full of non-whites flourishing and having good lives here. That's the beauty of the American capitalistic system. It can work for anybody.
Now is that to say that we don't have many within our system that want to continually suppress the growth, development and success of others, then I'll agree with you. In my opinion there hasn't been a bigger crime than when American politicians are caught using illegal immigrants for their own personal benefit.
There's just too many facts that go against your statement.
I also won't deny that being raised in, or growing up in an impoverished city or neighborhoods, with troubled families, won't diminish an individuals outlook of a good life, and trap you into thinking there's no way out or breaks for you in life. But again, why are we allowing this to exist???? Growing up with a low self esteem or self image is a wickedly powerful battle to deal with in life. This could be addressed. Most importantly we have to show these folks that mob mentality and crime is not the way to go.
I'm no socialist that's for sure, but we have to help these folks find a better way to think, and fix our systems so that they work for all.
